Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Deane Duane Thompson (February 23, 1935 - November 9, 2012) Deane Duane Thompson entered into rest surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with Leukemia. Deane was born February 23, 1935 to Elmer & Emma Thompson. He was born and raised in Minneapolis, MN, and married to his wife Susan for 41 years. Deane served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He loved playing golf, fishing, camping, and travel. He also liked rocks, watching football, and watching birds, but most of all he loved his family. Deane was preceded in death by his mother & father; his brothers: Russell, BJ, Norman, and Mitt; his sisters: Wilma and Bernie; his granddaughter Rachel, his best friend Jack, and his son Wade. Dean is survived by his wife of 41 years: Susan, his children: Dawn, Kent, Shandi, and Collin; his grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
