PENNINGTON, Robert Lee

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Friday, November 09, 2012 Robert Lee Pennington, 90, born Aug. 31, 1922, died Nov. 3, 2012, in Scottsdale, Ariz. He departed from this planet and stepped out into eternity to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was born in London, Ky., but grew up in Silver City, N.M. He served in the Navy as a Gunner's Mate on the destroyer the Downes. He was a very successful businessman in real estate and also once owned Pennington's Department Store. He retired from Willow Lake Estates Mobile Home subdivision. Robert is survived by his wife of 67 years, Jennye; two daughters, Linda Mathieu of Paris, France, and Dianne Schwartz of Goodyear, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
