West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Tuesday, November 06, 2012 Mary Louise Smiley, 101, formerly of Goodyear died Oct. 10, 2012, in Bullhead City. Mrs. Smiley was born Feb. 2, 1911, in Fletcher, N.C., to Ed and Leila Clayton. She moved to Arizona in 1950 and was a Valley resident until 2005, when she moved to Bullhead City. She also spent a few years in Arkansas and Illinois before moving back to Arizona. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose for several years in addition to working odd jobs before she retired. She was preceded in death by four children. She had seven children; 35 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; 41 great-great grandchildren; and eight great-great-great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be at noon Saturday at the Cotton Lane Baptist Church, 6240 N. Cotton Lane in Waddell. A reception is pending.
