MCCAIN, Velma Louise


West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Friday, November 09, 2012 Velma Louise McCain, 78, of Glendale and formerly of Buckeye died Oct. 23, 2012, at her home from Alzheimer's. Mrs. McCain was born May 12, 1934, in Blytheville, Ark. She moved to Arizona in 1964. She was a homemaker, a minister, a Sunday school teacher and helped run a mission on the Salt River Indian Reservation. She is survived by three daughters, Kathryn Baker of Morristown, Diane Franco of Glendale and Janie Kinsey of Buckeye; one son, David McCain of Show Low; four sisters, Wanda Davis, Martha Davis, Mildred Ritchie and Joan Howard; four grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
