David Eugene Pierce

David Eugene Pierce, 66, of Snowflake, Arizona passed away in Lakeside. He was born to Ruby and Alfred Pierce in Pinebluff, AK July 6, 1946.
As a young boy he moved to Arizona, where he became an accomplished bricklayer, leaving his mark across the lower Western States with his masonry work.
He spent the latter part of his years in Snowflake/Taylor, Arizona, where he continued his trade. When not working he spent his time “ Living Life” doing what he loved; fishing, camping, heckling his Grandchildren reading and sitting on his porch. He was a well loved son, brother, husband, companion, dad, papa and friend to many. He left to fish with Jesus on November 5, 2012.
David was preceded in death by his Father, Mother, two Brothers – Bill and Bob Pierce, one Granddaughter and one Grandson.
He is survived by; ex- wife Jenny, companion of 17 years Tammy Carey, two Daughters – Julie (Matthew) Fry and Molly (Joshua) Derryberry, two sons – Luke (Megan) Carrey and John (Jolene) Carey, three Sisters – Linda (Red) Hoffman, Betty Pierce and Debi Tipton, one Brother – John Pierce and 13 Grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date and will be a gathering in the spring on the Salt River.
