QUIJADA, Mary Lou

Copper Basin News Hayden, Az. 14 Nov. 2012 Mary Lou Quijada passed away peacefully on Oct. 31, 2012. Mary Lou was born on Feb. 4, 1930 to Austin and Mary Buzan. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ignacio Quijada. Mary Lou is survived by her children: Ramon (Lil) Quijada, Elaine (Benny) Rodriguez, Evelyn (Joe)Madrid, her grandchildren: Elija (JoAnn)Madrid, Sam Quijada, Candice Rodriguez, Ignacio Quijada and Adela Rodriguez, her great-grandchildren: Ramon "Tito" Chavez, Aubriana Rodriguez and Celina Rodriguez as well as sisters and many nieces and nephews. Mary Lou was a kind and caring lady and touched the lives of many people. She retired from Gordon's Market in Oracle where she was employed for many years. Her sense of humor brightened up the room. She loved to travel, always finding a bingo hall or casino during her adventures. She will be missed terribly by all her family and friends. Services for Mary Lou will be held at St. Helen's Catholic Church in Oracle on Sat. Nov. 10, 2012 at 10 a.m. Family viewing will be at 8 a.m., with a Rosary at 9 a.m. Interrment at the Oracle Cemetery in Oracle, Pinal, Arizona.
