Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, Arizona Monday, January 05, 2009 Jo Ann Kenney was born Jan. 6, 1930, in Galveston, Texas. She died Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, in her home with her husband; daughter, Diana; and her good friend, Laquita Searles, at her bedside. Her body was donated for research with Biological Research in Phoenix. Jo Ann was married Jan. 29, 1950, to Elliott D. Kenney, moved to Globe in 1955, then moved to Kingman in June 1968. She is survived by her husband, Elliott D. Kenney, and daughter, Diana Kenney, both of Kingman; her son, Al Kenney of Brookings, Ore; daughters, Deborah Bell of Texas and Donna Kenney of Lake Havasu City. She is also survived by brother-in-law, Dale Crum of Simi Valley, Calif.; sister-in-law, LaRue Welty of Texas; grandsons, J.T. Aiken of Denver, David Potter of Ventura, Calif., and Edward and Jason Kenney; and six great-grandchildren.
