EAGLE, Roger Paul

Vistoso Funeral Home, Oro Valley, Arizona Roger Eagle February 14, 1970 - October 14, 2012 Dr. Roger Paul Eagle, veterinarian and owner of Ina Road Animal Hospital, passed from this world Sunday, October 14. He treated pets with great competence; people with great compassion. Roger, a Tucson native, graduated from Rincon High School, University of Arizona and Colorado State University before hanging out his shingle in his hometown. Roger made a positive and lasting impression on everyone with whom he crossed paths. His friends often refer to him as a “role model” and “someone you could always count on.” If you asked to borrow his truck you’d, likely, get the truck and his help. At the clinic, he was loved and admired by co-workers and clients, alike. On more than one occasion, Roger helped a promising young animal lover get into vet school. When his musician uncle’s house was burglarized, he showed up the next day with a brand new guitar and an encouraging note including the advice, “You should get a German Shepherd.” Roger, seemingly, shared an equal affection for his pets, his vehicles and his Denver Broncos but the love he had for his family was unmatched. His grandparents, his parents, aunts, uncles and cousins were on the receiving end of that love. But, most of all, Roger was a wonderful, loving husband often surprising Kynta with flowers or chocolate. And, he was the best Dad that any daughter could ever ask for. Rogers' surviving loved ones include wife Kynta , daughter Talia, mother Barbara Gibel and father O. Roger Eagle. Memorials may be made in his name to the Humane Society of Southern AZ.
