Vistoso Funeral Home, Oro Valley, Arizona Joanne C Chounard (Scallate) December 31, 1945 ~ October 18, 2012 Joanne was a wonderful woman full of lots of love and laughter. Everyone who met her was her friend! She would do anything she could to help or just to make you smile. She loved her siblings and had more love than ever for her daughter's Kim and Katie. She was over the moon in love with her grandkids Megan, Krystal, Alissa, Patrick, all of them! In 1989 she was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. She fought a long valiant fight for 23 yrs with heart disease added to the mix. Nothing was going to get her down. Her hot pink wheelchair most of you will remember. She loved finding a bargain as those of you who knew her well would know. She bought more stuff for a quarter than anyone could imagine. She loved making her jewelry and giving them as gifts. She gave everyone her heart and was a loving caring Sister, Mother, Grandma (Nana) and friend. We will all miss her love and laughter and we know she is now our Angel watching over us.
