Lois Mattingly passed away Oct. 18, 2012, in Cave Creek, Ariz. She was born on Dec. 11, 1918, to Nathan and Ina Royce on their farm just North of Beloit, Wis.
Lois graduated from Beloit High School and married Jack Mattingly in 1940. Lois moved from South Beloit to Prescott, Ariz., in 1988, and then to Phoenix after Jack's passing in 2005.
She will be greatly missed by her four children, Ellen (John) Munger, Pat (Marlys) Mattingly, Jean McCallister and Sally (Mike) Hauser.
The joys of her life were sewing, quilting, volunteering, her four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her brother Harold Royce, niece Gail Walker and husband Jack.
Services were private.
Donations may be made in her memory to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
