HARRINGTON, Jerome (Jerry)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Thursday, November 15, 2012 Jerome (Jerry) Harrington, 87, died on Sept. 19, 2012. He was born in El Paso, Texas. Jerry moved to Prescott, Ariz., in 1988. He designed and built his dream retirement home - something he wanted to do for many years. He embraced his new community and successfully ran for a position on the city council. He served on the city council from 1989 to 1993. He also taught classes in management at Yavapai Regional Community College and received multiple awards for his volunteer work with children. Jerry is survived by his six children; four stepchildren; many grandchildren; and wife Rosalie. Jerry was an avid golfer and enjoyed hiking, investing, sports, travel and exchanging stories and jokes with his friends, colleagues and family. Jerry has now taken on the new role of guardian angel for all whom he loved. We will miss him so. Information provided by survivors.
