HALUSKA, Francis J.

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Tuesday, November 20, 2012 Francis J. Haluska, 94, of Peoria and formerly of Avondale died Nov. 13, 2012. Mr. Haluska was born in Lansford, Pa., to George and Mary Haluska. He graduated from Lansford High School in 1936 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a technical sergeant. He retired from All Steel and moved to Arizona in 2008. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rosalie; one daughter, Mary Frances Haluska; and one sister, Helen Lawton. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 13720 W. Thomas Road in Avondale. Private committal services will be at a later date.
