Vistoso Funeral Home, Oro Valley, Arizona Andrew J. Schrepfer September 8, 1930 ~ September 9, 2012 Andrew J. Schrepfer, 82 years old of Oro Valley, AZ passed away September 9, 2012. Loving husband of Joan; father of Susan Kluga, Andrew T.(Patty) Schrepfer, MaryJo Butte, and Jane (Jerry) O'Neill; grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 1; brother of Bernice Hill and Dorothy (Joe) Bomersback; and many nieces and nephews. Andy worked for Illinois Bell Telephone Company for 36 years. He retired in 1985 to Mt. Mitchell Golf Course in North Carolina. Andy was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, a former Grand Knight of the Knight of Columbus, and involved in the Tucson Men's Lunch Bunch. Andy was also awarded the Theodore N. Vail Award for courageous action, resourcefulness and preserverance in attempting to rescue a man from drowning. Andy loved traveling, golf fishing trips with his family, his dog "Bogie", and his favorite football teams, Notre Dame and Appalacian State. A rosary will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 10:30 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 8650 N. Shannon Rd., Tucson with a Memorial Mass to follow at 11:00am
