The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Tuesday, November 20, 2012 Larry Joe Michael Maddux, passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 in Prescott, Ariz. He was born Nov. 2, 1948 in Prescott, Ariz. and was a life long Prescott resident. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked many years at the Prescott VA Medical Center as a Telecommunication Specialist. He enjoyed cooking for his many friends and family and watching football and loved his dog Caesar. He is survived by his mother Pauline Maddux; sisters Marilyn Locke, Kathy Cathey and Linda Maddux; Aunt and Uncle Marlene and Don Love; nieces and nephews Sherrie Hubler, Sandy Locke, Kristine Duke, Kathryn Key and Kelly McCoy and Jason McCoy; and many grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his father Johnny Maddux and long time friend Curtis Matrolis. He was loved by his family and will be greatly missed by his many friends. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. The family suggests that memorial be made to the Marley House, 1063 Ruth St., Prescott, AZ 86301 in his memory.
