(Pegg) Baldwin - Welly, 90, of Battle Creek, Mich., formerly of Prescott, Ariz., died January 31, 2006, at Mercy Pavilion in Battle Creek, Mich. She was born October 10, 1915, to John and Lena (Kuckuck) Betz in Steuben County, Indiana Peggy graduated from Bellevue High School worked as a waitress and as a nurse at the V.A. Hospital in Prescott, Ariz. for over 20 years. She is preceded in death by husbands, William R. Baldwin and Paul Welly, her parents, and brothers, Howard and Marion Betz. Peggy is survived by her step-daughters, Mary Craig and Sue Lawrence, both of Battle Creek, Mich.; step-son, Richard Baldwin of Phoenix; several nieces and nephews, special cousins and many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 6 until 8:00 p.m. today at Shaw Funeral Home, Lehman Chapel, Bellevue, Mich. Services will take place 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Mountain View Cemetery, in Prescott, Ariz. at a later date. Memorial donations maygo to the American Cancer Society.
