The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 11/23/2012 Cruz Gutierrez, 73, resident of Lakeside died Nov. 17, 2012, in Phoenix. She was born May 3, 1939, in Tolleson. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Danny Gutierrez; four children: Daniel Gutierrez, Cynthia Gomez, Yvonne Lopez and Damian Gutierrez; 13 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Cruz is also survived by three sisters: Eloisa, Consuelo, Malena; three brothers: Juan, Mike and Robert. She was preceded in death by her son, Abey Gutierrez, who passed away five years ago. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1500 East 6th Ave, Mesa, AZ 85204, with a viewing at 9 a.m. Burial will be held immediately following services at the Mesa Cemetery, 1212 North Center Street, Mesa, AZ 85201.
