STARKEY, SR., Glenn A. (Cowboy)

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Thursday, November 23, 2012 Glenn A. "Cowboy" Starkey Sr., 76, of Tolleson died Nov. 7, 2012, from Alzheimer's. Mr. Starkey was born in Rising Sun, Md., to Clarence and Sallie Starkey. He moved to Tempe in 1946, and lived in Tolleson for 47 years. He retired from Bank One (Valley National Bank) in 1996 after working there 25 years. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jeanie; two sons, Glenn Jr. and Jody Ray; one sister, Anna Lee Hammer; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 26 at Best Funeral Services, 9380 W. Peoria Ave. in Peoria. Memorials can be made to Grace Hospice, 2141 E.
