MILNER, Duke M.

Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from November 18 to November 25, 2012 - Duke M. Milner, age 74, a 10-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., went to be with his Lord on Monday, October 29, 2012, in Las Vegas, Nev. Duke was born July 12, 1938. He was the only child of William and Luba Milner, who preceded him in death. Duke served in the Army for two years. Prior to his retirement, and for most of his career, he and his wife, Barbara, owned and operated their own businesses. Duke's best achievement by all accounts, was his last 34 years of serving the Lord. Most of those years were spent in California at Grace Community Church and Grace to You. His last ten years were in Bullhead City, Ariz., where he was given the opportunity to serve at the Bible City Church Emergency Assistance Window. This is where he provided encouragement to those who often had little reason to feel good about their current situation. Duke was a caring and giving man and will be missed by many. Duke is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Barbara Milner. A Celebration of Duke's Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2012, at City Bible Church, 922 Marina Blvd., Bullhead City. Following the celebration, there will be a reception at Sun Mission Resort Clubhouse (take Parkway to Camino Real go east to Sierra Santiago, and take a left, go through the gates, clubhouse is on your left). In lieu of flowers, donations to the City Bible Emergency Assistance Window would be greatly appreciated. For more information, please contact (928)758-2232.
