Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from November 22 to November 29, 2012 - Ernest B. Schlenz, a 27-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., died on Monday, November 19, 2012 in Bullhead City. Ernest was born on September 8, 1924, in Elgin, Nebraska. Ernest, formerly the owner of an auto body shop was a World War II veteran, having served in the United States Navy. During his leisure time he enjoyed boating and fishing. Mr. Schlenz was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Grace Schlenz; and parents, Ernestine and Nicholas Schlenz. He is survived by his son, Greg (Mary) Schlenz of Bullhead City, Ariz.; two granddaughters, Monica Schlenz of Montrose, Minn and Neva (Steve) Pattillo of Las Vegas, Nev.; five grandsons, Adam Hall Wrate of Hackberry, La., Lojech Wrate of Hackberry, La., Abel and Yer Wrate of Puyallup, Wash. and Isaac Wrate of Bellevue, Wash. Also, lots of great-grandkids, Niah, Adam, Allison, Meadow, Jayden, Alena, Arianna, Lojech Jr., Elijah, Jordan and Kayla. Burial will take place at 1:01 p.m., on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California.
