The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona, January 2009 Teresa Encizo Lopez 81, passed away in her home in Miami, Arizona on December 26, 2008 after spending Christmas surrounded by her family. She was born on January 5, 1926 in Miami Arizona to Felipe and Paula Encizo. She graduated from Miami High School in 1944, and in June of 1948 she married Robert D. Lopez. Teresa worked for Valley National Bank for many years and later on spent a great number of hours volunteering with the Miami Food Bank, the Gila Literacy Program and the Cobre Valley Community Hospital Auxiliary. She was a longtime member of our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert D., and her sister, Alice. She is survived by her sister Eve Felix of Sun City, Arizona, her daughters Sylvia of Miami, Arizona and Rosalie (Doug) Hirano of Tempe, Arizona, grandchildren Kristen Eastlick of Alexandria, Virginia and Noah and Olivia Hirano of Tempe, Arizona. Visitation will be on Friday, January 2, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Miami, with the Rosary at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian burial will be said on Saturday, January 3, at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The family requests that donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Miami Food Bank, (505 Live Oak St., Miami, AZ 85539) or the Cobre Valley Community Hospital Auxiliary (5580 S. Hospital Drive, Globe, AZ 85501). ~~~~~~~~ Lamont Mortuary of Globe, Globe, Arizona Teresa Lopez Teresa Lopez, age 81, passed away Dec. 26, 2008 in Claypool, AZ. She worked as an assistant manager for Valley National Bank. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lopez. She is survived by her daughters Sylvia Lopez and Rosalie Hirano (Doug), her grand-son Noah Hirano, her grand-daughters Kristen Eastlick and Olivia Hirano and her sister Eve Felix. The visitation is on Jan. 2 at 6:00 pm and the service is at 7:00 pm at Our Lady of the blessed Sacrament Church. She will be buried in Pinal Cemetery.
