Greer’s Mortuary of Sedona, Sedona, Arizona Marion Jones November 21, 2012 Marion Lucile (Wright) Jones Marion Lucile Jones, Sedona, Arizona Age 94, passed away November 21, 2012. Marion was born February 2, 1918 in Ovid Twp., Branch County, Michigan the daughter of C. L. and Mildred (Collins) Wright. Marion graduated from Lansing Central High School in 1936. She retired from the State of Michigan as an auditor, after 23 years. Marion attended Redeemer United Methodist Church of DeWitt, and was a member of Lansing Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, Michigan Wing OX5 Aviation Pioneers, State Employees Retirement Association, and Mason Chapter Order of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her brothers; Charles (Esther) Wright, and Robert Wright, a sister Frances (James) Jamison, daughter-in-law Sandra Rhead Jones, and granddaughter Tricia Brehse. Marion is survived by her children, Douglas Jones of Tucson, AZ, Gordon (Sandra) Jones of Sun Lakes, AZ, Patricia (Charles) Brehse of Carlisle, IA, and Carolyn (Barry) Baumgart of Sedona, AZ, sister Barbara (James) Jones of Cadillac, MI, sister-in-law Dorothy Wright of Springdale, AR, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great, great grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Contributions may be made in Marion's name to either: Lansing Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution ~ Indian School Fund, or as a 24 year survivor, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, to Greer's Mortuary, 2725 W Hwy. 89A, Sedona, AZ 86336. A graveside service will be held in Okemos, MI and will be announced at a later date.
