West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Tuesday, November 27, 2012 Larry Cowens, 55, of Avondale died Nov. 15, 2012. Mr. Cowens was born Nov. 19, 1956, in Phoenix to Louis and Dale Cowens. He is survived by his partner of 38 years, Diane; one daughter, Lisa; three stepsons, Richard Galindo, David and Robert; one sister, Linda; four brothers, Louis, Bob, Jesse and Carl; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel, 7900 E. Main St. in Mesa. Memorials can be made to Barrow Neurological Institute, 350 W. Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85013. Funeral arrangements were made by Mountain View Funeral Home.
