Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona, Wednesday, November 28, 2012 Frances M. Von Helms, born in Los Angeles, CA on June 2, 1918 went Home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 26, 2012. Right out of High School Frances worked for Alhambra School District. Then she felt called by God to serve Him as a missionary among the Navajo people. Frances served for over 50 years with Navajo Gospel Mission at Hardrock and then Flagstaff, Arizona. After retiring, Frances volunteered at the Flagstaff Medical Center. The last three years of her life while bed bound, she prayed faithfully for missionaries around the world. She is survived by her nephew, John (& Allison) Von Helms, California and niece Joanne Wright, Washington and many great nieces & nephews. Fran spent many years as part of Calvary Bible Church. Services will be on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 11:30 am at Calvary Bible Church, 6555 Townsend-Winona Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be given to a mission or missionary of your choice. Frances had a heart for prayer and loved to support missionaries.
