Mrs. Betty Cornwell, 77, of 4201 N. Ninth St., died yesterday in the Phoenix General Hospital.
   
Mrs. Cornwell, a native of Bell County, Tx., had resided in Phoenix for 30 years.
   
She is survived by three sons, Leap of Windsor, Calif., and Thomas and W.S, Cornwell, of Phoenix; a daughter, Mrs. Hope Welch, of Phoenix; 11 grandchilden and one great-grandchild.
   
Services will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Camelback Chapel 21 W. Camelback.  The Rev. R.L. Braden will officate.  

Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.
