BADGER, James M. (Jim)


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Saturday, December 01, 2012 James M. Badger April 30, 1939 - November 25, 2012 Jim Badger passed away Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, due to complications from brain surgery to remove a glioblastoma. Jim was born in Chicago, Ill. He graduated from Illinois College and received a master's degree from UCLA. Jim taught high school English for 10 years, then resigned from the Los Angeles Unified School District to open an offset printing business. Jim loved the outdoors and was an avid water skier and a scuba diving instructor. He was lucky to have made many scuba diving trips around the world with his wife and friends. When he retired to Prescott in 1996, Jim took up "Jeeping" and led Jeep trips over much of the State of Arizona. Jim was also an expert target shooter. Jim is survived by Anne, his wife of 49 years. A memorial Jeep trip will take place at a later date. Information provided by survivors.
