Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Thursday, November 29, 2012 >> William Palmer << >> May 23, 1929 — Nov. 19, 2012 << William (Fred) Palmer was born on May 23, 1929 to Martha and Red Palmer in Byesville, Ohio. He graduated from Byesville High School. He enlisted in the Army-Air Force in 1950, was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force in 1953. He moved his family west in 1963. They lived one year in Scottsdale before moving to Southern California where he retired from Boeing Aircraft. In 1987 he and his wife Lois, moved to Lake Havasu City. Fred sold hats and shorts at the Sunday swap meet for several years. He enjoyed talking with people, going to garage sales for that ‘good buy’ and entertaining at home. He is a lifetime member of Byesville Masonic Lodge 0654. The V.F.W., The American Legion and the Eagles. Fred is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lois; sons, Michael and Stephen Palmer; grandchildren, Jonelle Hunter, Anthony Palmer, Matthew Palmer, Addison Palmer and Jennifer; great-grand children, Ubrie and Landon Hunter all of California. Arrangements were made by The Neptune Society. A celebration of his life is planned for after the Holidays
