Zane George passed away Nov. 29, 2012 at the age of 80 in Lake Havasu City. He was born Aug. 1, 1932, in Poteau, Okla., to Wil George and Bessie (Farrar).

Zane was a proud U.S. Army veteran and a retired plumber. He made Lake Havasu City his residence since 1996.

Zane is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Dolores George, of Lake Havasu City; children, Bill (Lisa) George, of California, Kathy, Betty and Janice, of California; grandchildren, Jennifer and Zachary George, of California; sister, Juanita (Bill) Christensen, of Missouri; nieces, Sue Helvey, of California, and Linda Majors, of Missouri; and sister-in-law, Diane Heagle, of California.

Services will take place at Lietz-Fraze Chapel Monday, at 2 p.m. with Michael Moorehead officiating.
