BLUNT, Barbara D. (Bobbi)

David’s Desert Chapel Funeral Home, Wickenburg, Arizona Barbara D. “Bobbi” Blunt passed away peacefully, surrounded by all those who loved her deeply, on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Bobbi was born on March 31, 1944, and for the past few years has courageously battled cancer. She remained up-beat and cheerful throughout; sharing her love and spirit with all she touched. Bobbi valued the love and support of family above all else. Bobbi is survived her husband Skip — her best friend and the love of her life for 47 years; their two sons and daughters-in-law, Mitch and Staci; Kelly and Debbie; and her pride and joy, grandchildren Tara, Kyle, Sierra and Savannah. She will be greatly missed by her brother Larry Marr and his wife Lois, her sister Pamela Matson, her sister Ann “Betsy” Roberts and her husband Mike, her nephew Sean, and nieces Antoinette and Audrey and great-niece Natalie. She was like a Mom to all in the Wickenburg H.S. Classes of 1983 and 1990. Her enthusiasm, laughter and joy will be especially missed by the Queens. Bobbi made many friends and touched the lives of so many people during her 40 years as a beautician, her work with the Fire Department Auxiliary, and her many other caring activities in Wickenburg. A celebration of Bobbi’s life will be held Saturday, December 8th, 3-6pm at the Wickenburg Elks Lodge. Memorial donations in Bobbi’s name may be made to the Wickenburg Elks Lodge Youth Account. To know Bobbi was to love her. She will be greatly missed.
