Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Emery Mercury Cruz (December 28, 1985 - December 2, 2012) Emery Mercury Cruz, age 26 of Turkey Creek, AZ, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on December 2, 2012. Emery was born on December 28, 1985 in Whiteriver, to parents Leo Cruz and Yolanda Deane. Emery enjoyed playing music, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Emery is survived by his companion Jamie Cly; son Brent Lewis; by Father Leo Cruz; Mother Yolanda Deane; sister Deanna Adley; grandmothers Georgianna Truax, Eva Lupe, Vera Lupe and Fannie Cruz; by grandfathers Jackson George Sr. and Pat Cruz; by uncles Delrall Deane, Terry Spivey, Everette Lupe, Pastor Gary Lupe, Antone Cruz; by Aunts Ramona Walker, Era Truax, Ethelena Caddo, Annette Tenijieth, Arlene Natan, Vallery Bead and by many relatives and friends. A wake will be held in his honor on Saturday, December 8th at 10:00 AM at his residence, 3518 E. Fork Rd. in Turkey Creek. Funeral services will follow on Monday, December 10th at 1:00 PM at the Riverside Church with Pastor Valentina Begay officiating. Interment will be at the Dove St. Cemetery in East Fork.
