DAVIES, Joseph (Wynne)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Tuesday, December 04, 2012 Joseph "Wynne" Davies Wynne was born in 1924 in Wales, U.K. He served in the Royal Navy during WWII. He graduated from Cardiff University with degrees in civil engineering. His profession took him around the world - Guam, the Philippines, Pakistan and Cairo, Egypt. He and his wife, Jean, immigrated to Canada in 1953, where their children, Stephanie and Michael, were born. In 1960, the family moved to California, their home for 30 years. Jean and Wynne retired to Prescott, Ariz. in 1990. Wynne is also survived by his adored grandchildren, Jack and Sutter, of Colorado. Services entrusted to Sunrise Funeral Home.
