BROADBENT, Alfred

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Tuesday, December 04, 2012 Alfred Broadbent, 78, of Tolleson died Nov. 28, 2012, in Goodyear. Mr. Broadbent was born Jan. 12, 1934, in Philadelphia, Pa., to Elwood and Josephine Broadbent. He moved to Arizona 51 years ago. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He is survived by his wife, Charme Broadbent; one daughter, Donna Rochon; three sons, Steven, Rex and Todd Broadbent; two sisters, Josephine Broadbent of Washington and June Dittmar of Pennsylvania; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at noon today at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear. A reception will follow at American Legion Crandall-Palmer Post 61, 35 N.
