Louise M. (Accetto) Stahl a long time resident passed away Nov. 27, 2012 in Flagstaff at the age of 80. Lou, as she was known to her family and friends, was born Nov. 24, 1932 in Hinsdale, Ill. to Frank and Amanda Accetto.
Following graduation from high school, Lou went to work for the North Shore Railroad in Chicago, Ill. She then went to work with the Lake County, Ill. Assessor’s office before relocating to Lake Havasu City in 1972 where she was a business owner and later worked for the Havasu Regional Medical Center and the Lake Havasu Unified School District. Among her many hobbies, were cooking and anything to do with her family.
Lou is survived by her sons, James “Chip” (Jamee) Stahl of Lake Havasu City, Frank (Lori) Stahl of Lake Havasu City, Michael (Andree) Stahl of Mesa and Charles (Wendy) Stahl of Needles, Caif.; daughters, Dorthe “Dotti” (Bo) Dugan of Santan Valley and Roxanne (Bob) Zimmer of Flagstaff; 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Service will be at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Saturday, Dec. 8, at 11 a.m. with Chaplain Kathy Kenney offering words of comfort.
In lieu of flowers the family requested that donations be made in Louise’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital through the St. Jude Tribute program P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
