ZAHGOTAH, Leroy

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 12/07/2012 Leroy Zahgotah entered into rest Nov. 22, 2012, in Whiteriver. He was born June 20, 1935, in Whiteriver. Leroy is survived by his daughters: Annette Zahgotah, Twila S. Zahgotah, Colleen Skidmore; son Harrison Zahgotah; sister Emma Truax; six nieces, five nephews, 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his companion:, Bessie White Zahgotah; grand-daughter Venita Marie Swift; brothers: Mariam Zahgotah, Stanley Zahgotah. Leroy’s body was brought home to Annette Zahgotah’s residence Nov. 29, for a two night wake at 3200 N. Penrod in Whiteriver. Home services were held Dec. 1, at the family residence in Whiteriver officiated by Pastor Hazard Walker. Interment was at the Whiteriver Cemetery. Manzanita Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
