West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Friday, December 07, 2012 Manuel L. Silvas, 76, of Avondale died Nov. 30, 2012, in Goodyear. Mr. Silvas was born July 18, 1936, in Pecos, Texas, to Juan and Dorotea Silvas. He is survived by two sons, Jose Luis Silvas and Gilbert Silvas; two sisters, Juanita Medina and Margaret Bitolas; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary recital at 7 p.m. today at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear.
