Jeremy West
1946 - 2012
Jeremy West, 66, went to be with the Lord on November 20, 2012.
Preceded in death by his wife Lori.
Jeremy and his good friend, Don Shumacher, came to the Verde Valley from California in the early 1970s to paint the Central Hotel of Jerome, and never left.
Jeremy then went on to own and run the Pizza Shed in Cottonwood at the NW corner of Mingus and Main Streets; the only pizza parlor in Cottonwood at the time.
After selling the Pizza Shed, Jeremy and his family bought a fire agate mine (The Balls of Fire Mine) and went into mining and creating beautiful gold and silver jewelry.
Later on in life, Jeremy decided to become a tattoo artist and started Cosmic Tattoo in Cornville.
Jeremy was a rare being, excelling in all he did: painter, artist, business owner, hunter, fisherman, and true friend.
Take care old buddy, Richard Clay
