Services will be 1 p.m. Feb. 16, 2013 at Willow Hills Baptist Church, 1071 Mogollon Road, Prescott, Ariz. Arrangements by Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, Prescott, Arizona Joan Audrey Fairchild Lang November 25, 1930 ~ January 6, 2013 Joan passed away December 6, 2012, in Prescott, Arizona. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Rev. Wayne V. Lang, her 3 sons, Mark Philip Lang, David Wayne Lang and Neal Steven Lang, as well as by her sister, Barbara Fairchild Thiemann, brother-in-law, Ralph Thiemann, sister-in-law, Marlene Lang Wreza, 6 grandchildren, 2 nephews and a niece. Joan was the first of 2 children to Morton and Eleanor Fairchild, born November 25, 1930, in Chicago, Illinois, where she was raised. In addition to her loving duties as wife and mother, Joan was a life-long church organist and pianist, and a devoted Christian her entire life. Since 1992, Joan has resided in Prescott with her husband, after they retired from 42 years of ministry in the Midwest. It was Joan’s wish that any donation or memorial made in her honor should be made to The Music Ministry at Willow Hills Baptist Church in Prescott. A celebration of her life will be held at Willow Hills Baptist Church in Prescott, on February 16, 2013, at 1:00 p.m.
