GEISLER, Sherry Lynn

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 12/14/2012 Sherry Lynn Geisler, 56, died peacefully in her sleep Dec. 7, 2012, at her home in Eagar. She was born Aug. 18, 1956, in Durango, Colo., the daughter of George W. and Evelyn MacLean Geisler. Sherry was the Justice of the Peace and Magistrate for the Round Valley Justice Court. She never knew a stranger and was never too busy for a hug or conversation. She was a pillar for her family and for the community. She loved to travel and enjoyed gardening and family gatherings. Sherry was loved by all that knew her. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Rachel and Aaron Vandemark; mother Evelyn Geisler; brothers George (Donna) Geisler, Greg (Sheri) Geisler, and Ralph (Stephanie) Geisler; six nieces and three nephews. Sherry was preceded in death by her father George “Pete” Geisler. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Burnham Mortuary in Eagar. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Round Valley High School Auditorium. Burnham Mortuary of Eagar, handled arrangements.
