Reverend Alvin Pinke, age 86, a 22-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at his home with family by his side.
Alvin was born on May 16, 1926 to Max and Anna Pinke. He married Delores Loots in 1950. In the course of 62 years of marriage, they had four children, which resulted in seven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Alvin's joys were spending time with family and friends, telling jokes, hunting, shooting, and traveling. Their travels included Europe, the Mediterranean, Africa, and all fifty states.
Alvin is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and his sister. He is survived by his wife, Delores; brother, Victor; his children, David, Paul, Susan and Ruth; and many grand and great-grandchildren.
He was a member of Hope Methodist Church in Bullhead City, Ariz. Instead of a funeral, a Celebration of Life was hosted for him at his retirement village, Fiesta Resort, a month before his death.
Persons wishing to make memorial donations may do so by contributing to Hospice of Havasu or Hope Methodist Church. Both organizations were very supportive and demonstrated their loving care for our family. .
