Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from December 12 to December 19, 2012 - Lance E Walk, age 69, a long time resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., passed on December 5, 2012 at his home in Bullhead City. He was born in Granite, City, Ill. on October 28, 1943. He moved from St. Petersburg, Fla. to Bullhead City over 21 years ago. During his career, Lance worked various jobs including bartending, sales, and as a casino supervisor. In 2001 he retired from casino work due to health conditions. Lance enjoyed day trading, wrote short novels, and also wrote amazing letters. He was greatly loved and will be sorely missed! Lance is survived by his wife of 20 years, Sally Walk; son, Lance A. (Rachel) Walk, and daughter, Christine Walk, who both live in Illinois; brother, Kevin Walk from Illinois; two stepsons, Robert (Joyce) Simm and David (Carrie Jean) Simm, who all reside in Bullhead City; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Desert Lawn provided cremation services. On Friday, December 21, 2012 there will be a memorial service at home for friends and family.
