Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Sunday, December 16, 2012 - In loving memory, Alexander Oliver Menzies III, beloved father, husband, confidant and friend, passed away at 5:55 p.m., Dec. 9, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife and “mate”, Jose Jean Menzies, whom he loved until the end. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Frances L. and Gene (Skip) Wertman, Simon A. and Jody Menzies, Su-Lyn M. and Butch Ortiz and Robin A. Menzies. His grandchildren and spouses and great-grandchildren: Christie and Dave Runnels with Darius, Meghan Wertman and Marc LeDuc, Marc and Trish Menzies with Cora and Jules, Eric and Angela Wertman with Steven, Alistair and Katey, Kyle and Marci Menzies, Sarah Jean Tague-Ortiz with Jaxon, Jaclyn Rose Ludden, Brandon Boren, Tim and Nicki Moran with Blake and Trevor and Michael Ortiz. May you no longer feel the pain and loss of your “mate”, may you no longer be lonely... You are our hero, and we will love you for the rest of our lives.
