Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Sunday, December 16, 2012 - Paul Lawrence Steenwyk passed away Dec. 12, 2012 in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 70. Paul was born June 13, 1942, in Hastings, Mich., to Lawrence and Hazel (Wing) Steenwyk. Paul and his wife, Judy, moved to Lake Havasu City three years ago from Reno, Nev. Paul was an avid golfer, loved the outdoors and being around people. He was also an active member of Calvary Baptist Church. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Judy; son, Eric Steenwyk, of Reno, Nev.; mother, Hazel Steenwyk, of Modesto, Calif.; brothers, Tom Steenwyk, of Modesto, Calif., and Tim Steenwyk, of Texas; and sister, Joyce Hoach, of Modesto, Calif. A Memorial Service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul’s name to the Calvary Baptist-Sweetwater Crossing Building Fund.
