The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Monday, December 17, 2012 Beatrice "Bea" Brambila Espitia, 91 years old, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, in Prescott. Born on Sept. 24, 1921, in El Paso, Texas, to Jose Maria Villavicencio and Refugio Hernandez, she was adopted as an infant by Candelario Carrillo, and spent her childhood and young adulthood in Mayer. She attended, and graduated from, the Mayer public schools. On June 27, 1938, Bea married Angel Lopez Brambila, to whom she was married for 33 years, until his death in 1970. Bea was employed as a housekeeper, and at several local companies, retiring from the Aquarium Pump Corporation in Prescott. She married Arthur Espitia on Nov. 1, 1982, in Mayer, Ariz., to whom she remained married for 30 years, until her death. She was an active member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church her entire life. Her greatest joys in life were her faith, and time spent with her family and friends. She loved people and people loved her. Bea lived her life with joy and grace. She was preceded in death by her mother Refugio Hernandez, her father Candelario Carrillo, her husband Angel, brothers Octaviano Carrillo, Rito Carrillo, and sister Juana "Jenny" Flores. Also preceding her in death are daughter Mary Anne Gilbert, son Eugene A. Brambila, and grandson William D. Brambila. She is survived by her husband Arthur; sister Victoria Garcia (Paul) of Orosi, Calif., Candelario Carrillo (Peggy) of Phoenix, Ariz.; and sons Frank A. Brambila of Palm Springs, Calif., Michael A. Brambila (Priscilla) of Dewey, Ariz. and Ronald E. Brambila of Boulder, Colo. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Richard Garcia, Cheryl Anne Gianntonio, Edward Garcia, Phillip Garcia, Jeri Lynne Bernal, all from Phoenix, and Stacy Gilbert Zavala of Hooterville, Mo. Also, Jonathan Brambila of Prescott, Ariz., Shera Lynn Barnes of Chandler, Ariz., Joseph Brambila of Dewey, Ariz., Mary Ingolia Meher of Denver, Colo., Kristopher Brambila of Washington, D.C., Michael Brambila and Brian Brambila of Los Angeles, Calif.; and, 18 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m., on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at Heritage Memory Mortuary, 131 Grove Ave. in Prescott. Funeral mass will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury Ave., Prescott, with burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery, 1051 Willow Creek Road, Prescott.
