West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona, Tuesday, December 18, 2012 Daniel L. Collins, 91, of Litchfield Park died Dec. 8, 2012, at Arrowhead Hospital in Glendale. Mr. Collins was born Sept. 20, 1921, in Spokane, Wash. He moved to Arizona in 2006. He worked as an attorney in Colville, Wash. He served as a lieutenant junior grade in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946 and in the Navy Reserves from 1946 to 1948. He was a member of the Elks. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Krasin; and one son, Daniel Clayton. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Collins; one son, James Robert of Richland, Wash.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. No services are planned.
