Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona, Wednesday, December 19, 2012 Genevieve Barbara Pacheco Aguilera, 82 Genevieve Barbara Pacheco, child of Baudelio Pacheco and Marianna Enriquez Pacheco Acosta, was born in Miami, Ariz. on Dec. 4, 1930. She went to sleep on Dec. 10, 2012, just six days after her 82nd birthday. She was a registered nurse for many, many years. She started her nursing career at Miami Inspiration Hospital up on the hill. She later began nursing at Gila General Hospital in Globe. She retired from nursing and was hired at Pinto Valley Mine as a laborer, eventually retiring after 10 years. Genevieve had always been a hard working lady; single-handedly raising her three children until she met and married Mike Aguilera. Mike helped Genevieve raise (their children), as he referred to them. Genevieve was preceded in the after life by her son, Arnold Ramos; husband, Mike Aguilera; stepfather, Pablo Acosta; brother, Paul Acosta; sister, Rosalie Coughlin; and mother, Marianna Acosta. She leaves behind her son, John (Annette) and granddaughter Teresa Ramos of Tucson; daughter, Rosanna Ramos of Globe; grandson, Edward Lopez of Scottsdale; three great-grandsons, Arron, Jacob and C.J. Lopez of Idaho; granddaughter, April (Don) Clark of Mesa; son, Robert Ramos and three sisters, plus many more grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She’ll always remain loved, missed and remembered in our hearts forever. A memorial celebration of Genevieve’s life was held at Miles in Globe on Dec. 18 at 11 a.m. Assisting the family was Miles in Globe, and especially Tammy Termain.
