Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona, Wednesday, December 19, 2012 Veda M. Reynolds Phillips, 82, former resident of Globe, Ariz. went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 surrounded by her loving family at Lancia Villa Vista, Wintersville, Ohio. She was born April 8, 1930 in Holidays Cove, W.V. She is the daughter of the late Boaz Glenn Blosser and Gem Linger Blosser Hill; Veda is also preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph P. Reynolds, second husband Larry N. Phillips and a stepson, Kevin Phillips. Veda was retired from the former Hub Department Store, credit department and was a homemaker. Surviving are one son, Douglas Reynolds of Richmond, Ohio; four daughters, Merry Lynn (Bill) Hibbits of Steubenville, Ohio, Jeanne (Tom) Holt of Bloomingdale, Sue (Junior) DiBacco of Bloomingdale, Ohio and Pam (Michael) Leonard of Globe, Ariz.; one stepson, Gary Phillips Tucson, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Billy (Kim) Hibbits, Shannon (Bryan) Conlon, Jason Holt and Paige Reynolds; four great grandchildren, Anna, Joseph and Sarah Hibbits and one step great grandson, Easton Conlon. Veda was a member of Rosemont Chapel Steubeville, Ohio and the Senior Citizens Center of Globe, Ariz. Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 15 at the Mosti Funeral Home, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville. Rev. Sonny Shoe officiated. Burial in Union Cemetery, New Manchester, W.V. A Memorial service for Veda Phillips will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22 at Sovereign Grace Baptist Church, 201 Yuma St., Globe, Arizona.
