Carl Walter Ackerman passed away on Sunday Dec. 16, 2012 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 88. Carl was born on May 18, 1924 in Bennington, N.Y. to Adolph and Marie (Zimmerman) Ackerman.

Carl moved to Lake Havasu City 23 years ago from New York. He enjoyed gold seeking, bowling and pitching horseshoes.

Carl is survived by his son, Leo Ackerman of Lake Havasu City.

Visitation and viewing will take place Friday, Dec.r 21, from 1to- 2 p.m. at the Lietz-Fraze Chapel with Scripture Service to follow at 2 p.m. led by Deacon Patrick Toilolo of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church.
