MARSHALL B. KUBELSKY, PIONEER BUSINESSMAN Marshall B. Kubelsky, 67, long-time Arizona businessman, died Friday [September 22, 1967] in St. Josephs Hospital. Services will be at Green Acres Chapel, 401 N. Hayden, Scottsdale, with burial in Green Acres Cemetery. Mr. Kubelsky came to Miami from San Bernadino in 1916. With his father, he operated a grocery store there until 1919, when he moved to Scottsdale and opened another grocery store. Mr. Kubelsky stayed in Scottsdale until 1925 when he moved to Laveen. In 1935 he began the Kubelsky Feed Pen. He was a member of the Arizona Cattlemen's Association, Turf Paradise and Arizona Downs, the Phoenix Breeders Association and the El Zaribah Shrine. He is survived by his wife, Lillian; one daughter, Mrs. Clyde D. Smith, Scottsdale; and two grandchildren. Friends may call today and tomorrow at A. L. Moore and Sons, 333 W. Adams.
