The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 12/21/2012 Nicole Maria Parbery, 38, of Charlotte, NC, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012. She and Stewart met and married in Colorado and are the parents of a cherished daughter, Emma. Nicole enjoyed good wine, food and exotic travel. She moved from being cooked for, to becoming the person who cooks and provides others with culinary recommendations. Her husband, daughter and two dogs filled her life, as she filled theirs — they had a special closeness and did everything together, from dining out to exploring and enjoying the world. Her humor, positive energy and love touched many individuals, fostering the building of a wide and deep circle of friends. Nicole is survived by her husband, Stewart Parbery; daughter Emma Ashley Parbery and their beloved dogs Chutney and Crumpet; mother Erika Zelenka; sister Barbara Groenendijk of Show Low; and brothers-in-law: Mark Parbery and Janise of Andover, England and Jason Parbery of London, England.
