RAFTERS, Katie Wiggins

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Friday, December 21, 2012 Katie Wiggins Rafters, 26, passed away on Dec. 17, 2012. Katie was born March 2, 1986, in Mesa Ariz. She attended schools in Chino Valley, graduating CVHS in 2004. Katie will be remembered for her smile, her wit and uncanny ability to make anyone laugh. She was most proud of being a mother to her two beautiful daughters. Katie is survived by her daughters, Billie Claire and Ruby Leigh; her parents, Steve and Kathi Rafters; siblings Heather, Eileen and Cody; and her grandmothers, Evelyn Meseroll and Martha Rafters. Katie has a large family of aunts, uncles and cousins, all mourning her sweet spirit. A celebration of Katie's life will be at noon Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, with a potluck reception to follow. Services and reception will be at Granite Peak Unitarian Universalist Church, 882 Sunset Ave., Prescott. In lieu of flowers, contributions for the benefit of Billie and Ruby's education can be made out to Steve or Kathi Rafters at The Foothills Bank. Information provided by survivors.
