Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona, Monday, December 24, 2012 Mary Ann Schorman, 75, formally of Flagstaff and Seligman passed away November 19, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her family by her side. She was born in Chicago, Illinois April 19, 1937 to Carl and Lillian Eggers. Mary was a homemaker, she enjoyed cooking big meals for her family and trying new recipes she would find in her many cookbooks, and magazine clippings she would come by. She loved animals spending countless hours training them for either show or to be working dogs. She loved horses and listening to the birds singing their morning wake up song. She was active with the Special Olympics program with her daughter Pam for many years. Mary loved the holiday’s and everything that came with it, decorating, cooking, music the gathering of family and friends and of course the giving of gifts. It is only fitting that this year she brought majority of her family together for Thanksgiving, using her recipes and shopping from her list. This year she is spending Christmas with Jesus and her angles the she had missed for so long, husband, George “Skeets”, son Terry Gardner, daughter Pamela Gardner and her parents. She is survived by her children Tina Gardner White, Russell “Chip” Gardner wife Lynda, Amy Schorman Baker, and Sunny Schorman wife Kay, 10 Grandchildren and a number of Great-grandchildren. Family services were held during Thanksgiving in Oklahoma. Those that wish to honor Mary may send a contribution to Special Olympics.
